Diet: Minerals

Potassium

Potassium is a mineral salt is essential for the health and functioning of the body that must be taken every day through food, taking care to respect the needs daily. Fortunately potassium is present in many foods so it is not difficult to assume the right amounts simply by following a balanced diet.

The mineral salts are also known as essential minerals, which emphasizes on the one hand the fact that these micro nutrients may not be directly synthesized by the body, but they have to be taken through food, and secondly the importance of these micro nutrients have not only for the life of our body, but of all living creatures on the planet earth. With regard to the human body in particular minerals are essential for the production of molecules such as hemoglobin, and for the synthesis of others, such as proteins. Although the daily requirement of minerals in the body is relatively small is important both risottolineare again the fact that our body is unable to directly generate minerals which must therefore be taken through food, is to emphasize that the body is not able to hold the minerals for long periods of time, usually because these micro nutrients are expelled through feces urine and sweat, so it is important to follow a balanced diet intakes at each meal a fair amount of mineral salts.
