Moist napkins: from the past in the future

Traveling by centuries, moist napkin, changed and improved its consumer qualities. Being the constant companion of her solemn meals, practically they forgot in the middle ages and again revived the French King- sun in the times. IN the 21st Century moist napkin plays the role not only of required component during the dinners in the elite institutions, but also, after changing, it she became the required companion of each cultural person.

History of the appearance of the napkin

Moist napkin had hundred per-cent natural origin, indeed in the times of antiquity its role carried out fig leaf. Specifically, according to the historical evidences, slaves to the meal gave it, so that the gentlemen would have the capability to wipe hands after fatty food, indeed they ate in those times in essence with hands. The natural juice of fig leaf moistened hands, helping more rapidly from to clean them the remainders of food.

Further in the historical sources the prototype of contemporary moist napkins appears in France (times of the middle ages). Game and wine were main components of ration and before the appearance of forks the pieces of food took by hands and they sent into the mouth, therefore on the etiquette of servant obligated were to bring to the table, as needed, silver cups with the water and clean towels. In the silver-plated dishes the hands washed and wiped by their towel.

In Russia also were used “moist napkins”. To the guest of note before the meal they brought jug with the spring water and clean so that it could wash and wipe hands.

The traditions of the Japanese before the food or by tea drinking to give moist towel so that it would be possible to sit down at the table with the clean thoughts and the hands, arrived at us from the depth of centuries.

Thus, for a period of centuries, the product claimed in modern world absorbed into itself the traditions of many generations and different peoples in order in the 21st Century to become the universal means of hygiene.

Present

Appearance of a term “moist napkin” can be attributed to the seventieth years OF XX. Specifically, then appeared the first napkins, impregnated with alcohol lotion from the rough cellulose. This was the timid attempt to create that claimed society product. They were not practical, since material was distant from the perfection, but moisture rapidly volatilized, making napkins unfit for the use.

And only with the advent of the contemporary technologies, which made it possible to create soft synthetic tissue sufficiently durable and in also the time, to invent convenient packing airtight and in also the time, to find the formula of liquid for the impregnation transferred product from the historical category into the category of the contemporary and claimed means of hygiene.

Moist napkins in the 21st Century acquired the mass of attractive consumer qualities, after enlarging its functional designation. Different additives to means for the impregnation of napkins ensure moistening the skin and exclude allergic reactions. Improvement of the technology of production gives the possibility to obtain hundred per-cent natural product at the output, which makes it possible to use them for the maintenance of tender skin of child, woman use the napkins for removing makeups, and in the journey or under the road conditions they will help to refresh face and hands instead of the soap and the water. One of the consumer characteristics - convenient and practical packing, which makes it possible to retain moisture the long time, being narrower than opened once.

The enormous selection of different categories of moist napkins is given to user, it is possible to say, in all cases of the life:

    •  With the aroma and without,
    •  On the alcohol basis (antiseptic) and hypo-allergenic,
    •  Children's (only from the natural components) and universal,
    •  For the intimate hygiene,
    •  For removing makeups,
    •  For the harvesting.

Depending on the sphere of use, and also on the need of buyer, them they distinguish by a quantity in the packing, the aroma or his absence. Tendencies toward the improvement of napkins testify about the growing consumer demand on them.

Manicure can much describe about the woman - her tastes, the preferred style and even nature. Season winter -2011 proposes many new urgent nuances of varnish for the nails, with which it is possible to experiment, reflecting its own preferences not only in the fashionable clothing, but even in the manicure. To however, blindly follow the trends even in so far as concerns selection of the nuance of varnish for the nails, fashionable experts do not recommend -, before the bringing of the trend nuance of varnish to the nails, it is first necessary to ascertain that it approaches to the tone of the skin and to the form of nails.

Metallic nuances of varnish for the nails

Dark, pink, red nuances - classics, from which now and then it is desirable to rest. This is why to this in winter cosmetic of Brenda proposed new trend - varnishes for the nails of the most different metallic nuances. However, it is not worthwhile to consider that metallic varnish for the nails - unique revolution in the cosmetic industry: in reality this trend - only sequential return of the style of the eightieth years, eternally urgent on. This in winter most fashionable nuances of varnish for the nails will become the most different metallic colors - from the traditional of gold and silver to the more nonstandard bronze and sulfur- steel.

Eternal classics: red
Red color, according to the large calculation, never leaves from the mode - not only in so far as concerns clothing, but also in the sphere of cosmetic. By this in winter red lacquer for the nails again can be considered one of the most popular nuances - since it as any another, it makes it possible to emphasize femininity. However, the supremacy of one color does not indicate the absence of space for the experiments: depending on the tone of the skin and individual tastes trend will become the saturated blood-red nuance of varnish for the nails, and where is brighter, reddish- is coral.

Flat varnish for the nails

One of the key trends of winter season became the appearance of an absolutely new nuance - “the hybrid” of the neutral nuances of the gray, brown and beige, for the first time proposed on French house Of chanel. Trend nuance can be darker or lighter, with the warm or cold semitones - everything depends only on producer and tone of the skin. The lusterless nuances of grey-brown, beige and classical gray became favorites in stylists, preparing models to the showings of the collections of fashionable brands on.

Nails 2011: it is shorter, it is still shorter

It is in 2011 it will be possible with the complete right to name mode to the nails revolutionary: it is approached completely. Is intended that is begun improbably to urgent to bear short and super-short nails. This tendency for the first time was designated still several seasons back, but in 2011 short and maximally natural nails seriously threaten to make room all the remaining arrogant achievements of lingual industry. Massive modelling, acrylic design, intricate pictures on the surface of each nail, will be most likely, for some time forgotten. Short nails are much more convenient in the daily way of life - any woman for sure will agree with this. They where more rarely break, with them you will not break of, yes even other merits in them are sufficient. To take at least that the fact that, according to given of all possible “glossy” interrogations, to the majority of men also to much more pleasant see on the hands of excellent I will give the precisely short and accurate nails - such, which in them are associated with the femininity, but not with the rapacious inclinations. Stylists do not get tired of repeating, that the optimum length of nail must be such that its edge would speak in favor of the cushion of finger not more than on half centimeter. And in 2011 this rule in the unguent mode will be one of that being basic.

In the name of the naturalness

the nails of 2011, still several years ago the growth of nails enjoyed in women simply rabid popularity, the subsequently majority of them nevertheless returned to “natural” values. Women prefer to have their natural nails, assume that and not such spectacular, such as to them there is no time made in the professional salons. And the matter even not in the fact that similar services cost money, but the recently economic crisis made it necessary to seriously reexamine the expediency of some investments into its own appearance. Simply mode thoroughly decided to be reoriented from glamor to the practicalness, and this found its reflection even in the ungual design.

Manicure for the short nails in 2011 promises to be sufficiently restrained after all that uproar of paints and components, which the lingual mode for the elongation of the two-thousandth demonstrated. The most optimum version - this is uniform the single-tone coating with expensive and qualitative varnish from the leading brands. For the same, to whom this can seem by monotonous and dull, are preserved in the force all variations in the French and lunar manicure. Appeared even the new concept of French manicure - Shanghai manicure, based on the combination of the varnish of the velvety black nuance, the saturated gold and transparent with the sparklets, which is used as the coating. Ingenious commentators already drew parallels between “Shanghai manicure” and black- beige from Channel become legend.

Basic Healthy Hair Tips

Achieving healthy hair is much easier with a few essential guidelines. The following are five of the most basic healthy hair tips that can help you get softer, more manageable hair:

1) Be gentle when using heat on your hair. Heat-styling is shine-killer, so whenever possible, allow hair to air dry naturally. If air drying is not an option, set your styling tools on a low setting. If you can let your hair partially air dry, you can at least eliminate a large portion of the heat styling, which will be that much better for your hair.

2) Limit the use of hair sprays and gels containing alcohol. These products will ultimately leave your hair dry and brittle. Anti-frizz serum is a great alternative to gel. The serum will smooth your hair and leave it shiny and manageable.

3) Avoid shampooing your hair every day. Shampoo strips away natural oils from the scalp, robbing your hair of shine. Ideally, hair should be washed every 3 days or so, depending on how dry or oily your hair tends to be. Brush hair every day to distribute the natural oils to the ends of you hair.

4) Utilize natural hair remedies. For example, extra virgin olive oil can work miracles on dry, unruly hair. Adding a few drops to your normal conditioner will leave your hair silky smooth. Olive oil can also be used on clean, damp hair as a serum. Simply rub a few drops between your palms, and apply to you hair before styling.

5) Deep conditioning is one of the most effective hair care tips to keep hair healthy. To dramatically improve the look and feel of your hair, use a deep conditioner once a week. Avoid rinsing with hot water if possible. Instead, rinse with cool water to seal the hair cuticle and improve shine. A deep conditioner helps to protect your hair, keep it flexible and strong so that you have less breakage in between treatments.

These tips for healthy hair can be adjusted depending on your hair’s unique type, texture, and style. Nurture your hair, and the payoff will be healthy, shiny locks that you can be proud of.

How to Grow Long Hair

Have you been wanting to grow long hair, but feeling short on the patience it requires?

It’s like this: you want the gorgeous long locks that you see on other girls, but it seems almost impossible to get. Will it ever happen? Below, we’ve included a few important things to know as well as some helpful tips to help you learn how to grow long, healthy hair more quickly.

First of all, you need to understand that when it comes to growing long hair, every person has an actual genetically determined lifespan for their hair. This means that your body lets each strand of hair grow for a certain number of years. At the end of the lifespan, an individual strand will then simply fall out by shedding naturally or simply falling out during a shampoo or while the hair is being brushed.

In addition to the lifespan of a person’s hair, each person’s hair grows at a different rate. So, both things will influence your individual potential for getting long hair (along with a few additional factors we’ll discuss below). For instance, girls who have an easy time maintaining waist-length locks genetically have a longer lifespan for their hair, and may also naturally have hair that grows faster than girls who struggle to get it past their shoulders.

Finally, maintaining healthy hair (which depends on the care and overall treatment you give your hair) has a huge impact on your ability to grow long hair.

Just like our bodies, we start off with what we have been given genetically. After that, it’s up to how we treat our bodies that determines how we will look overall. If you want to know how to get long hair, understand that each of us may have an easier or harder time getting our hair to grow long due to genetics, but there are definitely things we can do to make the most of what we’ve got:

How to Make Your Hair Grow Longer:

1. Be gentle with your hair. Treat it as if it were delicate tissue paper. This will result in far less breakage than if you pull, twist and mess with it. Some of you are going to hate me, but this includes not twirling your hair! Playing with your hair is one of the worst things you can do.. your hair breaks off at an alarming rate when you regularly twirl it.

2. Don’t tease your hair. When you tease your hair, you actually comb against the cuticle, roughing it up which makes the hair appear dull. When the cuticle is sealed and remains flat and straight, it reflects light and appears shinier. In addition to diminished shine, teasing your hair also weakens the strand and makes it extra vulnerable to breakage.

3. When brushing or combing your hair, start from the ends first. This minimizes tangles. Be gentle as you begin brushing and any tangles you do come across will come out much easier. If your hair is wet, be extra gentle since your hair can stretch and break when it’s wet. The best thing to use on wet hair is a wide tooth comb instead of a brush.

4. Use a deep conditioner. This is a hair care essential. For most people with normal to dry hair, we recommend deep conditioning once a week or so. But if you have very dry or color-treated hair, and you’re trying to grow it out, you will probably want to use a deep conditioner every time you wash your hair, or at least every few days.

5. Don’t use heat when styling your hair. Yes, this one may be practically impossible for most of you, but experts agree that heat styling (drying, curling or straightening) causes your hair to be much more dry and brittle. If you absolutely must use heated styling tools, use a high quality heat protectant product before styling.

6. De-Stress! Stress inhibits hair growth, causing it to thin. The hair that does grow is typically delicate and brittle, resulting in easy breakage.

7. Eat healthy. This is probably one of the most important things you can do. Good nutrition is the foundation for growing healthy hair. Protein, essential fatty acids (like omega 3) and other nutrients will help tremendously in giving you strong, healthy, shiny hair. Taking a high quality multi-vitamin can really help as well. The stronger and healthier your hair, the more easily and quickly it will grow.

8. Trim your ends regularly. Many people claim that trimming your ends makes your hair grow faster. It doesn’t actually make it grow more quickly because it grows from the root, not the tip. However, regular trims keep the ends even and healthy. When they are irregular, dry and straggly, they break much more easily. Keeping them nicely trimmed will actually help you get the length you want more quickly simply because it will eliminate much of the breakage you would otherwise have. Plus, since growing hair long does take time, your hair will look much better along the way.

How to Apply Powder Bronzer

Bronzer is one of favorite product. By using it correctly, you can get that healthy, gorgeous sun-kissed look you’ve been coveting. But if applied poorly, you can end up looking like an Oompa Loompa. The trick with bronzer is to know when, where and how much to use.

Step 1: Choose Your Brush. Choose a brush with a large, fluffy end. A large powder brush or a large blush brush can work, but just know that you need to make sure it is big enough to allow the product to be dusted on over a large area without being too heavy or leaving streaks.

Step 2: Take your brush and gently swirl it in your bronzer. Whether you’re using a loose powder bronzer, or the more common regular powder bronzer, you just want to get a small amount on your brush. It’s better to start with too little than too much. You can always layer the product to get a deeper color, so start light on your first touch.

Step 3: Tap your brush on the edge of the compact with the brush end over the makeup pot. This helps to eliminate any excess powder from the brush and allows the excess to fall back into the container so that you avoid wasting any.

Step 4: Apply the bronzer to your face in a number 3 shape on one half of your face – starting at the top of your forehead and working your way down the side of your face. The “number 3 shape” will go from your forehead around the side of your forehead and temple, then in towards the upper part of your cheek bone, then back out around your jawline and down to your chin (your jawline and chin should get less product than your forehead and upper cheeks). Next, you’ll repeat the steps and apply it to the other side of your face. Think of focusing on the areas of your face where the sun naturally hits and tans your face.

Step 5: Blend! As you apply the bronzer in the previous step, you should just be creating a gentle glow, not a dark, obvious stripe of product. Once you are done applying it, Be sure to blend well. One of the most tell-tale signs of a poor makeup look is obvious streaking or lack of blending. To blend, use your empty brush to smooth out the product anywhere it looks uneven.

To finish, you can repeat the steps, and/or blend a little extra across the top of your forehead and cheekbones to add a little depth to your color. Just be careful not to go overboard. Too little bronzer looks way better than too much.

How to Apply Concealer

Concealer is a cosmetics life saver. Nearly everyone can benefit from concealer – even if they’re not planning on applying a full face of makeup. We all have little imperfections that we want to hide and concealer does a great job of this when applied properly. If you’re just starting out with this product, learning the proper concealer tips and application techniques is the key to using concealer makeup without it being obvious and drawing even more attention to your trouble spots. As with any cosmetics product, learning how to apply makeup products the right way will help you get the best look possible.

Step 1: Always use moisturizer first. Concealer can accentuate any dry, flaky spots. This is particularly important if you have been spot-treating pimples because the treatments tend to dry out the surrounding skin. Putting concealer onto flakes only makes the blemish more obvious and the concealer will simply eventually flake off. For best results, you may want to use a mild facial scrub prior to moisturizing. Some cleansers even contain a gentle exfoliating ingredient that is safe for everyday use, like Neutrogena’s Fresh Foaming Scrub.

Step 2: If you are wearing liquid foundation, it should go on first or you risk smudging or removing your applied concealer. On the other hand, if you are using a powder or mineral foundation, it is usually better to apply that after the concealer.

Step 3: Make sure the color you use is an exact match to your skin. It may be necessary to mix several shades together or add some of your foundation in order to achieve the desired color. If you are covering up noticeable skin problems, you may benefit from using a concealer with a slight corrective tint. Reddish blemishes or other skin conditions like rosacea can be canceled out with a concealer with a greenish corrective tint to it. Purplish or bluish under eye circles or veins near the inner corner of your eye or eyelid can be corrected by a yellowish tinted concealer. Keep in mind that these tinted concealers will be best for more noticeable problems. These concealers also require practice and precision to avoid looking funny once applied. For smaller blemishes, a regular concealer will be easiest to use.

Step 4: To apply concealer, use a tapered concealer brush and dot a very small amount of liquid or cream concealer directly on top of the blemish or discoloration. Blend outward. Apply more if needed, a little at a time, until you are satisfied with the level of coverage. Be sure to blend the outside edges of where you applied the product so that there are no noticeable lines.

Step 5: To cover areas of discoloration or uneven skin tone, spread a small amount of concealer over the entire area using your finger or a concealer brush. Then blend the perimeter to avoid obvious transition lines.

Step 6: If you are using concealer under your eyes, apply a few dots onto your dark circles and blend the concealer in lightly using your middle or fourth finger. A patting motion will give much better results than rubbing. Some women also apply a bit of concealer to the inner corner of their eyes (near the side of their nose) to help cover up bluish tints that sometimes appear there too. These eye concealer tips can help your eyes look brighter and help you look less tired.

Step 7: Apply some loose powder to set the concealer in place. Mineral foundation will also work well for this purpose.

Learning how to apply concealer correctly can help you create an even finish (even before you apply your foundation) which will help you achieve that coveted, flawless looking skin.

Makeup Brushes: What to Know Before You Buy

You already know that you need to use a brush to properly apply makeup but not just any brush will do. If you have ever tried to use those sad little brushes that come inside of eye shadow or brush compacts, then you know that some brushes are better than others. Buying a cosmetics brush is not just a matter of running to the drugstore and grabbing a brush that looks like it is the right size. You need to put a bit of thought into your selection or you can end up wasting a lot of money. Here are some helpful tips for choosing cosmetics brushes.
• You should always buy the best quality makeup brushes you can afford. Yes, they can be pricey but this is one case where you really do get what you pay for. Good makeup brushes are an investment. Bad brushes need to be replaced more often and can irritate your skin.

• Natural bristles are generally better than synthetic ones. They also cost a lot more. Natural bristles are a must for large areas of the face but if you need to save some money, you can get away with synthetic fibers for any brushes that will be used with liquids.

• Pay attention to the material of the handle. Plastic is very easy to clean, which is important when you are working with liquids. Wooden handles, on the other hand, are more elegant and traditional but it can be very difficult to get stains out and these require extra drying time after washing. It’s really a matter of personal preference.

• Consider the density of the bristles in relation to the intended purpose of the brush. Stiff, tightly-packed bristles are a must for an eyebrow shading brush but softer bristles work better for applying loose powder all over the face.

• Look at handle length. Longer handles are easier to work with whereas shorter handles travel better.

• Concealer brushes can be synthetic if you are using them for liquid or cream concealer. Look for a small brush with a tapered round tip for covering blemishes and a flat, tapered square head for covering dark circles under the eyes.

• A good blush brush will be significantly larger than those that are usually included in the packaging of most blushes, yet not quite as big as a powder brush. Look for soft, natural bristles with a tapered head.

• If you are new to brushes, you might want to purchase a brush set from a reputable brand. Brands like MAC and Shu Uemura are considered some of the best. If your budget is smaller, you might want to try Sonia Kashuk or Essence of Beauty. Brush sets take some of the guesswork out of brush selection and are a great way to get a collection of useful brushes together. This often works out to be cheaper than buying them individually as well.

Dove Damage Therapy

Damaging Your Hair in The Name of Style? So What.
NEW Dove Damage Therapy Takes Care of Damage So You Don't Have To

Hair is damaged on a daily basis. Washing, brushing, curling and bleaching can cause damage both to the interior and exterior of the hair, which can cause it to look dull, split and eventually snap. While many women know and understand this, they are simply not willing to sacrifice the style they love for the sake of their hair's health. Now they don't have to...

Introducing NEW Dove Damage Therapy; a reassuring range that helps takes care of hair damage, leaving you to enjoy your favourite styles, guilt free and without the worry of damage.

The new range is formulated with a Micro Moisture Serum to work on the tiniest chips and cracks on the hair's surface and patented Fibre Active technology that identifies areas of damage and penetrates deeper into the hair shaft in order to restore and strengthen it from the inside out. In fact, the breakthrough combination helps to internally restore hair and prevent breakage for up to 95% fewer split ends.

The range comes in sleek, white packaging and features five shampoos and conditioners designed to care for different types and levels of damage - Intensive Repair, Colour Care, Dry Repair, Heat Defence and Daily Moisture - as well as two Daily Treatment Conditioners and a Heat Defence Mist. New to the range is Dove Damage Therapy Overnight Treatment, which delivers one month's worth of protein loss in just one night, helping to restore hair strength and resilience while you sleep.

How Dove Damage Therapy's Surface and Interior Technologies work:
While many shampoos and conditioners are designed to work on the surface - filling in the small chips in the cuticle to help leave hair feeling smooth and shiny - damaged hair may need more.

Fibre Actives are small molecules that provide surface and internal repair. They penetrate porous hair to restore bonds between proteins in order to help the hair regain its original structural integrity. The result? Hair is left strong, repaired and resilient to future damage.
Fibre Actives are found in Dove Damage Therapy Intensive Repair Shampoo and Conditioner, Overnight Treatment and also Daily Treatment Conditioner - Intensive Repair.

The Micro Moisture Serum consists of millions of tiny conditioning droplets which spread across the hair surface to fill in the cracks and chips in the hardest-to-reach areas of damage, so the hair shaft can be repaired evenly, leaving hair feeling smooth, natural and light.

Ruth Muller, Research & Development - Dove, said: "Following two years of product development, we developed the breakthrough Fibre Active technology to penetrate the hair shaft and strengthen strands from deep within. It's a lightweight formulation that doesn't just work on surface damage, like many other products on the market, but also helps restore and strengthen hair from the inside out."

Long Hair Care Tips

Caring for long hair takes a lot more time compared to caring for short hair or hair of normal length. Just washing and drying long hair can be quite a task in itself. Below are some tips on managing long hair.

Long Hair Care Tips
  1. Avoid sleeping with tightly braided hair or hair in a tight ponytail. The stress can cause breakage and/or hair loss.
  2. When your hair is braided, make sure that it is not too tight or it could cause breakage and/or hair loss.
  3. If your hair is braided or you have a ponytail, use a specially treated band or scrunchie which will prevent breakage of your hair, limit your use of clips, bows, and untreated bands.
  4. Even if you plan on growing your hair out further you should trim your hair once every 3 months, if not split ends will cause your hair to break off and your hair will begin to lose it's beauty, if you plan on just maintaining your length, a trim once every month and a half to two months should suffice.
  5. Don't use a brush to detangle your hair, this will stretch your hair and may cause your hair to break off. Instead use your fingers, a pick, or a wide tooth comb to detangle your hair.
  6. When detangling your hair work your way from the tips of your hair up to the hair roots. Work on detangling one section of your hair at a time and go in a downward direction.
  7. Be gentle when detangling, pulling down on your hair too hard will cause breakage.
  8. If you detangle your hair before washing it, it'll be easier to dry and style as well as decrease the knots and tangles after you are done washing your hair.
  9. Don't rub your hair dry with a towell, instead blot the water out of your hair, when you rub, it'll cause your hair to tangle.
  10. Hair can get caught on cotton pillow cases and break when you are sleeping especially if you toss and turn a lot when you sleep. Using a satin or silk pillowcase where your hair will make it so that hair will slide across the pillowcase without getting caught. Another tactic to prevent breakage is to put your hair up in a ponytail on the top of your head with a scrunchie or specially treated band (that prevents breakage).
  11. An alternative to the silk pillowcase is to wear a satin or silk scarf over your hair before your sleep to prevent breakage.
  12. Brushing your hair is important because it spreads the the hair oils out across the length of your hair. Use long strokes starting from the roots of your hair when brushing and stroke your hand over your hair after you are done brushing to get rid of static.

Thickening, Growth Enhancing Formulas for Maximum Lashes

Batting your eyelashes can become a lot more alluring when you actually have the long, thick, dark and full lashes that you see on lots of models and other pretty women who seem to have eyes that pop. The new breed of eyelash enhancers that has come out, which started with a prescription only lash growth enhancer and thickener called Latisse, promises to make your eyelashes long, plump and full in a matter of weeks.

And many of them do work, it's just that you need to use your judgment and find which one is best for you. Start by looking at possible side effects first. Can your sight be effected, since eyelash enhancers that are applied right around the lash line have a good chance of getting in your eyes, at least somewhat? Are there any reports of eye irritation or redness that you should know about?

Warnings of side effects is probably your number one concern. Your second is, especially if you are paying a decent amount, how effective the product is. Are their clinical studies showing your lash enhancing product really works? These are the types of questions you want to ask when you're looking for a good lash-enhancing product, since there are a few really good ones to choose from.

And most of all, can they help you get those awesome long and rich lashes like starlets such as Jessica Alba, Angelina Jolie and Catherine Zeta Jones have? Now that's what I'm talking about! Why do you think they have such alluring eyes? They have a lot of help from naturally (or were they helped along, hmm) luscious lashes.

How about reviews of the product? Is there positive feedback thus far on the lash growth and eyelash thickener formula of your choice? Can it help with regrowth of lashes that have fallen out or had some sort of trauma and never regrew?

Another important consideration is, does this product's indications for use fit into your lifestyle? For instance, if you are concerned about irritation, you may want a product that you only have to apply at night, not at night and in the morning. Or you may not give two squats about when you have to apply it, or how.

How about the applicator? Many of the higher end eyelash enhancers out there are applied a lot like eyeliner. You apply a thin line JUST below the eyelash line on the bottom of your eyelid, and JUST above your upper row of lashes (these are obviously the most important lashes to elongate and inject with fullness, since they are the lashes that really define the eye and give you that extra sex kitten appeal).

Most are made with a clear formula, so you don't need to worry about it interfering with the look or style of your makeup in any way. And most of them are pretty convenient, just allowing for dry time after application of the product before you put your makeup on, which may simply be the time it takes you to brush your teeth, for instance.
These eyelash thickening and growth formulas may approach the goal of lengthening and enhancing the lashes in a few ways. Some may use proteins to help build out the lashes, while some may actually seep in and trick the lashes into growing longer. Depending on the approach, you may or may not need to use them on an ongoing maintenance basis after the growth you desire has been initially achieved.

Even if you stop using a growth enhancing serum for lashes after the recommended use period to stimulate growth and thickness, you should still probably use a good conditioner on your lashes, to help keep them in shape. After all, they will shed and fall out if not properly cared for after you achieve the growth you want. Think of it as you would conditioning your hair.

Glam Up Your Eyes

"I spy with my little eye" that many women have scant knowledge of how to apply their eye make-up correctly. Either they prefer to go nude all the time or they come away looking like raccoons, with heavy eyeliner highlighting dark circles. The trick, girls, is that less is always more. Apply less make-up but do so expertly, so that you come away with perfectly made-up eyes accentuating your best features.

If you have pretty coloured irises, you should draw attention to them. The smart way to do this is to smudge your eyeliner. Then apply eye shadow in a shade of your choice. It could be brown, black or grey. Add false lashes to make your eyes look bigger and prettier. Apply a few touches of mascara too. Then you are basically good to go!

However, the real trick lies in applying your eye make-up properly. For example, it is very off-putting to see lumps of mascara on your eye lashes or an inelegantly applied eyeliner.

How to Avoid the Top 5 Beauty Blunders that Men Will Always Notice

Applying Eyebrow Powder Properly First brush your eyebrows with an eye brow brush. This will help settle the fine hair. Dip the brush into some eyebrow powder. And here is the trick: reduce the amount of powder by tapping the brush smartly. Or wipe with some tissue paper to make the excess powder fall off. Apply the powder sparingly and then brush your eyebrows again to soften the effect and distribute the powder evenly across the eyebrows.

Perfectly Applied Eye Shadow Always use powder, as cream will settle into the creases of your eyes. If you must use cream, mix a bit of eye shadow powder in with it. This will prevent the cream from creasing. But before using this, apply some foundation to the area to smoothe out the skin and to prevent skin oils from smudging the eye shadow.

For Sparkling Eyes
Splash ice cold water on and pat it off with a soft towel. Alternatively, apply cold cucumber peels for fifteen minutes. Do pranayama and yoga to stimulate your blood supply to the eye area. Just before going to a party, apply hydrating drops. The night before, use an eye mask to hydrate the area.

Prevent Raccoon Eyes
The only way to do this is to dust some face powder on your eyes. Then brush it off in downward motions. Apply your eye shadow, eyeliner, and the rest, and walk away with beautiful, glamorous eyes.

Practical Nail Care for Working Women

Working women often don't have the time or the energy to look after their nails. Maintaining long nails, polishing them, manicures, pedicures etc. often become too tiresome for women who work, look after their families and their children. For such women, short, ugly nails are the only option.

However, it is possible to have attractive well-groomed hands without getting into a tedious cycle of nail care that is expensive and time consuming. For example, nails do not have to be long and shapely in order to look pretty. It is possible to have short but neatly manicured nails all the time.

Your Daily Nail Care Routine
Begin by establishing a regular nail care routine. Just as you don't fall asleep without removing your make-up and without brushing your teeth, similarly, add another to-do to this list. Always wash your hands with a gentle or herbal hand-wash. This washes off the grime and dirt that collects under the nails throughout the day.

Then, just before slipping under the covers, apply generous dollops of hand moisturiser. This keeps the skin looking young and hydrated and prevents the formation of wrinkles. This should become a habit with you and soon enough, you will see that your hands and nails start looking prettier.

The Basic Makeover for your hands

If you can, rub some Vaseline or petroleum jelly in to your nails every night. This strengthens them and locks in the moisture that you have applied for a good eight hours. Soon enough, your nails will grow longer and stronger.

Once a week, soak your hands in some hot water. Then, file down the nail growth so that the edges are rounded, but not sharp. You don't want talons, do you? After that, apply two coats of an invisible nail colour. This prevents your nails from looking yellow and unattractive. The invisible nail colour also helps strengthen your nails and this prevents accidental chipping and breakage.

Apply a coloured nail polish only if you can touch it up after two or three days. If you don't have the time, then keep the invisible nail colour on. If it chips then your nails will still look good.

Always keep a set of false nails ready for when you are about to go to a party, apply them over your existing nails. This way, you will always have pretty nails and lovely, shapely hands when you are out with friends.
