How to Apply Lip Liner and Lip Gloss

Lip liner was one of the first beauty tools I bought: I thought they would help plump up and redefine my lips. I learned quickly that there was a bit more science to the application (and to the achievement of lip plumping!) than just outlining the fading edges around your lips.

I think we all need to rediscover lip liner once we graduate from college. In the teen years, and in college when you’re trying to save up your cash, you opt for the easy, youthful looks: lip glosses, yummy smelling lip balms, heavy on the eyeshadow and eyeliner and call it a day.


Eyeliner was so much more present than lip liner in my college at least: not a lip liner stick to be found, except for in the theatre bags of my performing arts friends, who applied the lip liner so liberally (ha, try saying that three times fast!) in their shows it was almost for comic relief.


Let’s revisit the old tricks and trade of lip liner and lipstick combos today, and see what we can learn to make our beauty look more mature: enjoy!

Supplies you will need:
Lip Liner
Lipstick
Tissues
Sharpener for the Lip Liner pencil

Optional:
Lip Balm
Lip Gloss

Step 1: Choosing a lip liner is difficult. Pick a pencil that is just one shade darker than your lips, so it doesn’t look too clownish. Make a soft, delicate line around the edge of your lip, first on the top of the lip, and then on the bottom. Follow the video to see for yourself how delicate you want the pencil strokes to be: you don’t want to look like someone drew on your face!

Step 2: Lightly fill in the inside of your lips with the lip liner to give it a little extra color.

Step 3: Apply the lipstick (should only be one shade darker than the lip liner)

Step 4: Blot with a tissue

Step 5: Optional, but apply a light lip gloss

Seems easy enough! Just remember, please be delicate with your pencil strokes. You will thank me later

Dabur has always been providing quality household products to the Indian homes. It always has given some very quality product for a reasonably cheap price affordable by any common man. One such great product I have been using is the Dabur Amla Hair oil. WE in our household have being using Dabur Amla hair oil for ages and we normally buy the largest of bottle available as it cost quite cheap compared to the smaller bottles.
